Bell Machine Company, Inc. is a Woman-Owned Small Business is an ISO 9001 and API Specification Q1 certified, full-service precision machining and fabrication contract facility that has served both United States and international markets for more than 50 years. We specialize in tooling and machining operations across a wide range of industries, including but not limited to oil and gas, paper, Department of War, steel, transportation, power generation, mining and aggregates. ![]() Jewel C. "Judy" BellChief Executive Officer Jewel C. Bell and her husband, Tom, founded Bell Machine Company in their garage in 1965, establishing the foundation for what would become a long-standing and respected business. She has served as Chairman of the Board since that time, providing steady leadership and continuity throughout the company’s growth. Mrs. Bell is a registered Creek Indian, documented with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Florida Tribe of Eastern Creek Indians. From gaining valuable experience in accounting at First Bank & Trust of Pensacola to her studies at Baptist Christian College, where she majored in accounting, Mrs. Bell has remained a stabilizing force behind the company’s accurate revenue management, long-term financial stability, and fiscally responsible operations. Her dedication and financial expertise have played a critical role in sustaining the company’s success over the years. Mrs. Bell also enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. |
![]() J. Shane BellPresident Julian Shane Bell, son of Thomas and Jewel Bell, is a 1992 graduate of Trinity Heights Christian Academy. He began his college career studying engineering at Louisiana Tech University, but later transferred to Louisiana State University in Shreveport to balance his education with the growing demands of Bell Machine Company. While completing his degree, Shane worked as an apprentice machinist, gaining valuable hands-on experience. He graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Shane is married to Dana Bell, and together they have three children, Madalyn, Blake, and Addison. Shane is a registered Creek Indian, documented with the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the Florida Tribe of Eastern Creek Indians. Following graduation, Shane joined Bell Machine Company as a full-time employee and has since built a well-rounded career within the organization. He has served in multiple roles, including journeyman machinist, quality control manager, fabrication coordinator, and production control manager. In his current role as President, Shane oversees many of the company’s day-to-day operations, with responsibilities spanning procurement, operations, quality, and customer relations. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Shane is an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoys spending his free time in East Texas at the 4B Ranch, where he camps, hunts, and fishes with his family. He also enjoys riding side by sides with his family. |
![]() Lisa G. SmithOperations Manager Lisa Smith is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. She began her career at Bell Machine in 1986 as a secretary and has steadily advanced through the organization, serving as office manager and now as operations manager. Through her years of dedication and experience, Lisa has become an integral part of the company’s leadership and daily operations. In her current role, Lisa oversees a wide range of responsibilities, including office management, weekly payroll, employee benefits, bookkeeping, and public relations. She is also responsible for maintaining Bell Machine’s Quality Management System, ensuring compliance and consistency across operations. In addition, Lisa serves as a key liaison between customers and the plant superintendent, helping to ensure clear communication and efficient coordination. Lisa has been married to Cliff Smith for 39 years, and together they have two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, camping, and Dutch oven cooking. She is also a proud grandmother of three grandchildren whom she adores. |
![]() J. Blake BellField Service Manager Blake began working at Bell Machine at a young age and transitioned to a full-time role after graduating from high school. During high school, he completed a technical program focused on machining and welding, building a strong foundation for his career in the industry. He completed his program top in class and also won several machining competitions. At Bell Machine, Blake leads the Field Service team, managing a crew who travels to customer locations to diagnose technical issues and perform on-site repairs. His team works across a variety of environments to troubleshoot and resolve challenges involving mechanical, electrical, and machining systems, ensuring equipment is restored and operations continue efficiently. In his free time, Blake enjoys hunting and riding side by sides. |
![]() Madalyn Bell SmithAdministration and Marketing Manager Madalyn Bell Smith is a graduate of C.E. Byrd High School and continued her education at Louisiana Tech University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts and began her career at Nivel Parts and Manufacturing. She primarily worked in marketing and e-commerce and led a team of professionals. She gained extremely valuable knowledge in manufacturing and leadership. At Bell Machine, she supports the daily operations while also leading the company’s marketing and social media efforts. In her role, she assists with office management, payroll coordination, employee support, bookkeeping, and customer communication. In addition to her operational responsibilities, she oversees marketing initiatives. She plays a key role in strengthening Bell Machine’s brand presence and communicating the company’s capabilities to customers and industry partners. Through her combined focus on operations and marketing, she contributes to both the internal efficiency and external growth of Bell Machine. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Jon Austin Smith and daughter, Laikyn. Her hobbies include scrapbooking, tending to her vegetable garden and riding side by sides. |
